“খাদ্যদ্রব্যে ট্রান্স ফ্যাটি এসিড নিয়ন্ত্রণ প্রবিধানমালা, ২০২১” চূড়ান্ত করার কাজ এগিয়ে নিয়ে যাচ্ছে বাংলাদেশ নিরাপদ খাদ্য কর্তৃপক্ষ। ইতোমধ্যে একটি ভার্চুয়াল আলোচনা সভার মাধ্যমে খসড়া প্রবিধানমালার উপর সংশ্লিষ্ট ষ্টেকহোল্ডারদের মতামত গ্রহণ করা হয়েছে। আইন মন্ত্রণালয়ের ভেটিং শেষে দ্রুতই প্রবিধানমালাটি চূড়ান্ত হবে বলে আশা করা হচ্ছে। ট্রান্সফ্যাট নামক বিষাক্ত খাদ্য উপাদান নির্মূলে বাংলাদেশ নিরাপদ খাদ্য কর্তৃপক্ষের এই প্রচেষ্টাকে আমরা সাধুবাদ জানাই। বিশ্ব স্বাস্থ্য সংস্থা ২০২৩ সালের মধ্যে বিশ্বের খাদ্য সরবরাহ থেকে শিল্পোৎপাদিত ট্রান্সফ্যাট নির্মূল করার আহ্বান করেছে। ট্রান্সফ্যাট মুক্ত বাংলাদেশ গড়ার জন্য প্রবিধানমালাটি পাশ করতে সকলের সর্বাত্মক সহযোগিতা একান্ত প্রয়োজন। ...বিস্তারিত

Bangladesh Food Safety Authority (BFSA) is advancing the finalization of the regulations on “Trans Fatty Acids Control in Foodstuffs, 2021”. Comments from concerned stakeholders have already been taken on the draft regulations over a virtual consultation meeting. It is expected that the regulations will be finalized soon once its vetting process is completed by the Ministry of Law.
